Robert Burns #243 Trestleboard
From the East
Hello again Brothers. I finally feel like I am starting to settle in now and am very excited for some events coming up. We are conferring Brent Wandel's 3rd degree on the 21st which should be well attended. Also I have been in contact with the Granite Falls Park preparing for the open air degree on August 4th. I have come up with some good ideas for the Degree which I hope most of you will be able to attend.
At our Lodge Officers meeting on the 21st, (which is open to all members,) we will be discussing the future of are lodge and the decision to make Edmonds are permanent home. I am very cautious during these economic times and it is something we must decide in the most intelligent manner. The entire time I have been a member of Robert Burns and growing through the chairs of the line as a Mason, we have been looking for a place to call home. We have a great opportunity here and Edmonds Lodge is bringing us in with open arms. It is such a better feeling having this prior to are previous situation.
Our March meeting will have some visitors from the Nile. It is one of the units I have been a part of for several years now. They are coming down to provide some entertainment for us during the meeting. If you have never seen The Oriental Band play, it is something you should experience at least once. We are a tight group that has a lot of fun, while accomplishing one of the greatest charities the Masons provide which is the Shrine Hospitals. It is something I believe we should all be behind. It will be a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

From the Editor:
I want to apologize to WB Mark for this Trestleboard being so late. Although he got it to me before our meeting on the 21st, I did not get it up in time for most of his points, but I felt it was worth posting nonetheless. I look forward to seeing you at our meeting on 6 March at the Edmonds Masonic Center; as usual, dinner will be at 6:30, with the meeting starting at 7:30.
